Mixdown(Bounce) Long Sessions
Do I have to bounce everything in real time? I have 20 to 30 minute sessions that I would rather not bounce in real time if I don’t have to. I am bouncing the session to a stereo 24-bit file. Are there any other options? Thanks for all the great tips this forum offers, it makes for great reading.

Re: Mixdown(Bounce) Long Sessions
If you're bouncing several tracks, use plug-ins or automation, yes, the bounce process is realtime.
If there is only one track, no automation, no plugs, use consolidate, or the Audiosuite gain (with gain to zero). This is faster than realtime.

Re: Mixdown(Bounce) Long Sessions
Yes, there are several tracks, RTAS, etc. I was afraid that was my only option I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything.
Thanks for the information! |
