Default Avid Application Manager hangs "Getting Subscription Data"

As per the title, Avid Application Manager hangs "Getting Subscription Data" (this can continue indefinitely) until I manually kill the process. New install today, and despite following the information in this thread and also in the knowledge base here: http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/t...roubleshooting, I am unable to resolve this. (OS = Win 10)

Checking my account details on the main web site shows the correct available subscription, but for some reason this is not being read by the Application Manager.

Any help really appreciated.

Hi,
I have the same problem "Getting subscription data..." since a few days.
De-installed, re-installed, cleared cached files, read troubleshooting guide..
Nothing helps
And I always wondered : why have I to fill in my credentials twice (login/passwd), the first time it's always revoked. Is this something special that Avid does ?
Very strange

I do not run Application Manager daily or when I start the computer, once and a while to check things.

Thank you @jeffro for your help. I'll keep an eye open for the email.

@Darryl Ramm - Unfortunately the Sibelius won't run without the Application Manager. "Login required for Sibelius | First. Please quit, login to Avid Application Manager and relaunch Sibelius | First." is the error displayed if attempting to run as stand alone program.

That's news to me, like most folks here I don't use Sibelius or Sibelius First. Pro Tools runs fine without the frequently buggy App Manager, (which did seem to be getting better but I've seen it glitch recently and removed it again). BTW you are posting in the Pro Tools not Sibelius forum. Anyhow Jeffro will get you sorted.

I have just returned home after a few days travelling, and on checking the Avid Application Manager, I find that it has now loaded my subscription details, and that Sibelius now runs.

I'm not certain if anything has happened 'behind the scenes' (I've heard nothing other than through this thread), and nothing has changed from my end. So if anyone has been investigating on my behalf, many thanks. It's working fine today; long may it continue.

Sorry for the interruption, but glad to hear it's resolved. Keep in mind that since you have a current Update Plan or Subscription you can create a support case through my.avid.com > Access The Support Center. If it's time sensitive then it might be better to call support using the System ID listed with your product.
