Feedback after soloing tracks
Hello,
I hope somone can help me out with this one. I'm mixing on A G5 2GHz dual core, 002 rack with LE 7.1. I'm only using the bundled plug ins that came with the 002 (ignition pack.) On a particular session, i get feed back on audio channels with compressor III or EQ III plug ins, when playback is stopped. The feedback will start on a soloed channel but then propagate across all audio channels, auxes and instrument channels. If the original channel solo is disengaged, the whistle becomes a buzzing. The problem gets lessened, if ALL plugins on all channels are removed. I have checked for feedback loops due to aux routing and also from busing to groups. I've also checked for interference from my LCD monitor and computer, but the problem is present if I use the 002 or a Mbox 1, so i'm pretty sure that it is software. Has anyone else experienced this? As with all classic problems, it is also intermitent... Thanks for any help. |

Re: Feedback after soloing tracks
I'm getting this too on my XP machine. Did anyone get anywhere trying to resolve it? It happens across ALL tracks not just Aux tracks or record enabled tracks...
