Default Slow playback after switching to PT 7.1

Hi all, Im having an issue with one of my sessions for an album Im working on. The session is running at 24 48K and was originally recorded on PT 6.4. We upgraded to PT 7.1 and the playback on 1 song seems to be slow. The session hasnt changed and the only difference is we are now running off of a Firewire 800 drive. Any help on this problem would be great.

Do you use any external digital gear? Maybe you had some incorrect clock settings on that one song.

We do have a Behringer ADA8000 ADAT unit but the clock settings are all the same and Im positive Ive always had the same clock settings on all my sessions. The bounced rough drafts I have are all running at the proper speed and I did have a dither on the 6.4 sessions for 16 44.1 bounces. Ive tried making a new PT 7.1 session and Importing the tracks but its still playing back slow. The original sessions were recorded with SD2 files. Its all sooo bafflinggg...haha. I guess there isnt a lot of people who've had this problem...but Ill continue to try and figure out what went wrong...

You definately had a clock mismatch issue -- make sure your external clock source (ADAT or S/PDIF) matches the session's sample rate. You'll have to repair your older sessions -- do a search on the DUC this happens fairly often.
