Wave editor in MP9
The mastering company doing my project wants their tracks peaking at -6dB, while I unknowingly mixed them to peak at -3 dB. Does Pro Tools have a simple wave editor that I can use to drop them 3dB? I looked through all the manuals I have and couldn't find anything like that, but I find it odd that PT MP9 wouldn't have one, since it seems even the most basic DAWs have one.

Wave editor in MP9
ProTools IS a gigantic wave editor.
Although I understand (and preach) the advice not to mix too loud, I don't see why they would reject your files unless there was obvious clipping on them. If you really have to lower them a couple dBs, I'd personnally prefer to reopen my sessions, drop the Master fader (by 3 dBs in that case) and reprint the Master Files. In a pinch/if pressed by time, you can also import your mix files in a new session and apply an -3dB Change Gain AudioSuite destructive process to them.
