Default Error running Pro Tools First - "no remaining iLok assets"

Hi,

I didn't find this problem on forum, so I decided to ask.

After nonproblematic instalation of iLok and Pro Tools First, and linking both accounts, I can't open Pro Tools First. There is an error message: "Activation failed. There are no remaining iLok assets in your account" . I reinstalled Pro Tool, instlaled the older version of iLok. Still no effects. Any tips how solve this problem and start to use Pro Tools First?

I can't activate any license on iLok, becouse there is no license at all seen on iLok manager.
thanks for help!

Yep exactly the same error message as Marek.

I had put the wrong iLok ID when initially registering my Avid account, following the instructions to use my email address. But can't see how to change it! Ages ago I'd already started my iLok account with a different ID.

I've now changed my Linked iLok Account default ID on the AVID My Account page to match my iLoK User ID, but on my Products page under Pro Tools First it's wrong!

How do I change it???

Thanks, Jan

Did either of you ever find a solution for this issue?

Goofs with iLok accounts need to be solved by iLok(I don't think Avid can affect anything there, only with your MyAvid account). Last time I had an issue with iLok, I remember them being pretty quick to handle it(but it was years ago)

I had this error. I had not logged into my avid account before downloading the install program. I uninstalled First, then logged into my Avid account and downloaded the First install file from there. Install went normally from that point and the program installed without issue. Hope this helps.
