Plug In Issues - PT 10.3.10
I have Pro Tools 10 (Ver 10.3.10) running on Windows 7 Pro - Intel i7 CPU [email protected] / 8GB Ram / 64bit OS. I have a Radeon RX 580 Series Graphics card. Visually it looks fine except for pull down menus are HUGE but I was working around that. Up until a few days ago everything was working fine. I am now experiencing issues w/ Plug Ins - They load fine and factory (default) settings change just fine but I am UNABLE to tweak any of the parameters (ie EQ 7 Band - Male Vocal - loads but I can't adjust any EQ settings) I have searched everywhere on avid database and the internet and can't find anyone experiencing this particular issue with the plug ins. It's happening on ALL PLUG-IN's that have any kind of adjustment knobs, graphs, etc. Any advice would be great. I'd like to upgrade to PT 11 but not sure if that is an option. The new subscription based PT won't work for me as I would have to also update my OS (once again I'm on Win 7 Pro 64 bit)
Thanks in advance for your help and support - I look forward to hearing back from someone. |

Re: Plug In Issues - PT 10.3.10
UPDATE ..... Thanks for all that viewed my post ... after much trial and error it seems the issue was caused by my graphics card (Radeon RX 580 Series (36CU 2304SP SM5.0 575MHz/2GHz, 16kB L2, 8GB DDR5 4GHz/9GHz 224-bit, PCIe 3.0 x16).
I re-installed my old graphics card (ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series) and all the plug-ins are working properly and all settings can be adjusted. Not sure why everything worked fine with the new card for a month or so then stopped working .... but all is well. I hope this helps anyone that may experience a similar issue like this. CHECK YOUR GRAPHICS CARD FIRST !!!!! Thanks again ..... ROCK ON !!!!!! |
