But, since i'm new to the TDM on Windows 'scene', i've just learned here on the DUC that those PCI-X cards can also live on normal PCI slots.
And since I don't really trust a PCIe to PCI-X bridge, I'm going to try my core card on a normal PCI slot, and report back to you guys.

It seems that I was misinformed, the core PCI card doesn't respond in a normal PCI slot.
I'll keep on searching then.

Ok, disregard my last post, I tried my bottom PCI slot for this test, and this port doesn't seem to work (at least not with the Core card).
I have now inserted my core card in my second slot (the one above the previous one), and....IT WORKS!
No errors anymore!

I'm a happy camper now.

@Jonathan, if problems persist, keep trying different PCI slots, it apparantly makes a huge difference. If the drive bays are the problem, just go out and buy a bigger case once u have figured out which slot works (u can test that without a case, takes up some time, but viewing the money and the benefits involved, that sounds like a pleasant sunday afternoon )
