Default The operating system held of interrupts for to long

Is this occurs frequently, try increasing the "H.W Buffer size" in the playback engine panel.

So I get this all the time. Other then the obvious which is to increas the H/W buffer size, is there any thing I can do to get rid of this. I got a new comp and though all my issues with this would be solved. I have 12 GB of RAM, 3.02 GHx processor. I don't know why I would get this so much. The one thing I wonder is if my M Box is actually connected via Firewire. It says it is suppose to be but the only wire I have and the only connection there is goes in to aport labled USB. I am on fire wire?

any help woudl be great thanks.

Try the Port in the back of your computer. DO NOT USE THE FRONT PORT.

and post a Sandra report. Did you do any research on your new computer to see if it is PT compatible? What OS? What version of PT? What interface? Firewire and USB are totally NOT compatible so its likely you have a USB Mbox if you are plugged into a USB port. Digi has always recommended against using the front ports. A Sandra report will generate a lot more help.
