Default PT 11 for Mac will not completely download

I've been trying to download PT 11 for Mac numerous times. I tried downloading it to three different computers, two of which were Mac Probooks. I tried downloading from three different locations, one was a direct Ethernet connection to a cable modem. Every time (over 20 attempts) the download fails. Resulting file is always incomplete, between 20 MB to 400 MB (complete file is 689 MB). Interestingly enough, when I tried to download the Windows Version, it was successful.

Is it possible the Mac version of PT 11 on Avid's website is corrupt? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Isn't there a download issue with Safari on Mac? I know there's an issue with the 11 rack editor so I think it's affecting all mac's

Finally got Pt 11 for Mac to download... I did use Safari and it worked... Issue appears to be the need for an exceptionally good internet connection with no interruptions... Not 100 percent sure though.

Default Pro Tools 11.3 fails to download....

The Download begins but stops about 1/4 of the way across the URL bar. Any ideas why the download is failing? Is there some problem with my ISP regarding the file size of the download?

Question Re: Pro Tools 11.3 fails to download....

Are you using a WiFi connection? If so please try connecting via Ethernet.

Mac or Windows?

Browser & version?

Thanks,
JC

This might help if you're using Safari (Mac):

I tried to download PT11.3 (Mac 10.9.5) several times tonight using Safari. Kept getting The Network connection was lost error.
I was finally able to download the file:
1. Right-click on the link in My Products and Subscriptions.
2. Open link in new window.

I'm having this issue when trying download 11.3. Is there an alternative download link? I've had no issues downloading any large files except this one.

Both of the Australian tech support phone numbers listed in the 'contact us' section of the Avid website are disconnected.

Is it failing at the start (see "Safari can't find the server..."), or at some point during the download?

Thanks,
JC

It starts and then stops after throwing a "Network Error" on Safari and similar on Internet Explorer. I thought it was an issue with timing out so I tried using 3G tethering off my phone to gain a faster download speed. It again threw a "Network Error" but I kept resuming the download and tried to limp it to the finish line until it threw a "The requested URL was not found at this server" error.
