connecting synth & module to 001
How do you connect a synth with built in sounds, and a separate sound module simultaneously in midi for both devices to receive midi messages from Pro Tools? I also want the sound module to recieve midi messages from my synth (use synth as controller).
Do I need a separate midi interface? I can connect one or the other, but not both. Any ideas? |

Re: connecting synth & module to 001
From the synth: midi out> Digi midi in
midi in > Digi midi out midi thru> sound module midi in Make sure local is off in the synth. Give the synth and the sound module separate midi channels. For example the synth channel 1-8, the module 9-16. Pieter |
