PT 10 doesn't see m audio 2626

So my friend just picked up PT 10 and a new macbook pro and his profire 2626 is not coming up as an option for inputs and outputs. We see it in the list in the audio section of his laptop so it is communicating with his computer, just not with pro tools. Any ideas?

Well, that allowed me to choose the 2626. But then when I created a session it still only shows the built in mic. I tried it a couple times. Each time I chose the 2626 and each time it was not an option in the session

Try going to Setups>IO Setups and deleting all the paths on the left side, then hitting the 'Default' button for both Input and Output.
