Default using d-verb for singing

does anybody know how to use d-verb to make it sound like you can sing what are the best input, mix,algorithm,size,diffusion,delay,pre-delay,hf cut,lp filter settings for it or any advice and help is usefull thanks!

I´ve been recording for 30 years one way or another. Digital came with Atari Falcon. Still learning.

The settings that are used really just depend on the vocalist and song. Generally, having a Plate reverb sounds the best with vocals. The decay, pre-delay, mix, and etc. just all depends on the song. Normally you want to time the reverb to decay in time with song. Just use your ears and play around with it.

thats not what i heard, everybody i asked "what effect makes you sound like you can sing",and they all told me reverb

Reverb just adds realism (or exaggerated "realism" heh) to what you have. If you can't sing, it won't make you sound like you can. It'll just make it sound like you're in a "real" environment.

the "effect" that makes you "sound like you can sing" is called a good voice.

Reverb makes bad singers sound like bad singers drenched in reverb.
