I HAVE BEEN RUNNING PROTOOLS 7.1 IN WINDOWS XP WITH AN M-AUDIO FAST TRACK USB FOR OVER TWO YEARS. I UPGRADED MY HARD DRIVES (BIGGER) AND DOUBLED MY RAM FOR BETTER SPEED/PERFORMANCE. I RUN THEM FROM MY DELL D620 LAPTOP AND HAVENT HAD ANY PROBLEMS UNTIL NOW.

NOW EVERY TIME I OPEN PROTOOLS I GET THIS ERROR...

"PROBLEM DETECTED WITH AUDIO CLOCK. CHECK THAT YOUR CLOCK SOURCE AND SAMPLE RATE ARE CORRECT."

ANY IDEAS??

ANY ASSISTANCE WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED.

You should start with the steps in the Win XP/ Pro Tools 6.x/7.x General Troubleshooting thread and post specific info on your system per the info on that thread if you're unable to resolve the problem.

You may want to look at the Help us help you thread as well.
