Default How to export midi?

Every time I try this it exports everything. You have 2 options:

1)single track...saves every midi clip in the session and converts them to one track (which is kinda pointless).

2)multi track...saves every freaking midi clip in the session as a bunch of individual tracks.

All I want to do is save just one. I dont need them all, you have to search through them one by one after you've imported to find the correct one. Its ridiculous!

Why cant I just export 1 midi clip and put it in a folder so I can just access it quickly when I need it in a session?

Copy the clip you want to export, put it in a separate track and export that. After you've done the export delete the extra track. Simple and it works. I do it quite often in PT11.2.1
