Default Problem with fwx card.

I buy fwx card with my venue dshow console.
My problem is that when launch protools and record or playback the protools stop and said that i have a problem with audio buffers, i have the audio buffers to 2048 but the protools stop anyway.
I launch nuendo and select the digidesign asio driver with 1024 buffers but the audio playback with many clicks.
How can i solve this?

Sounds like a pro tools issue,

Are all other programs turned off?
Is your computer fast enough to run pro tools properly?

I had a similar problem when recording it would stop after 20 minutes or so. After increasing the buffer size it went away. Make sure that it is recording to the firewire drive. Also are you using a hard drive with the approved firewire chipset?

The pc is a core 2 duo 2GHZ with 4gb ram. The procesor is lower 10% usage and the hard disk lower 15 %.
However if i use nuendo with a m-audio soundcard i can record and playback ten track ok, but with the dshow fwx the sound crash.
With protools m-poweres all ok, my problem is with the dshow console.

What kind of a hard drive are you recording to?
