I am not sure but I don't think you can step down from 5.1.3, to an earlier version of PT, at least I think thats what I read in an eralier post

In Pro Tools 5.1 and higher, there is an option to "Save Session Copy in..." and choose v5 session format. You would need to do one of the following:
Resave on the TDM system
Upgrade the LE software to 5.1.1
or else import the individual tracks.

You can download the latest PT Reference Guide and look in the chapter under Sessions & Tracks.
Here's an excerpt:
Session Format
You can save the session copy in the following formats:
  • <font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Pro Tools 5.1
  • <font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Pro Tools 5
  • <font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Pro Tools 4. 16-bit
  • <font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Pro Tools 4, 24-bit
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">When saving 5.1 sessions to Pro Tools 5 or earlier, multi-channel tracks and multi-mono plugins are lost. When saving a 5.1 session to an earlier session format, make sure to first separate the tracks and plug-ins to individual mono tracks.
