MBox Pro with Peakmeter
Hello.
I connected a Peakmeter to the out 3/4 of my Mbox and there is a signal between -25 and -20 db when no sound is playing. But there is no noise or something else. The signal is fine. The same on all other outputs. Even in standalone mode when nothing else is connected than the peakmeter. MBox and Peakmeter are brandnew and I only used balanced cables. I tried the same with my old audio interface and there isn't the problem. It's not the Peakmeter. This works great in standalone when I connect a signal generator. Is that normal or is the Mbox broken? Thanks in advance! |

Re: MBox Pro with Peakmeter
I wonder if its a ground loop causing a hum that the Peakmeter "sees" but you have no way of hearing it(granted, this is grasping at straws)
