Has anyone bit the bullet and upgraded yet? I'm thinking about doing it, but afraid of losing my mbox 2/PT8 LE compatibility.

Yup, bit the bullet and broke a tooth.
Damn LOL

I have an Mbox Mini 2.

Mountain Lion came up and killed the plugin to run the Mbox.

Anything that may be incompatible with your new Mountain Lion ends up in a folder called "Incompatible Software" (shown here)

My understanding is that sometimes the plugins get moved there because Apple can't verify them, but it doesn't mean they won't work if you put them back. (I can't recall for sure, but think I might have had to do that with Lion, and/or reinstall drivers). Have you tried that?

I did try to reinstall the driver, but it will not.
Just makes me eject the disk/dmg

I can copy the plugin for the "Incompatible Software" folder and put it back, but i dont know where "back" is LOL

I checked in my incompatible software folder and I have two midi plugins from last year when I installed Lion. but Protools itself and my MBox2 still work fine on Lion - that's why I'm wondering if you should still be able to get it to work...

Did you try installing the drivers located here: http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/e...nload/en379411 ?

I'm basing this suggestion on the post here:
