Outputs for MBox?
Is there a way to add hardware to the Mbox 2? For instance wanting to use a head phone preamp and use bussing to create a head phone mix and then send through a hardware output?

Sorry, no. The S/PDIF out is apparently only capable of mirroring Outs 1&2.

Mbox is really designed to be a single musician solution to recording. Trying to do much more with it is an exercise in frustration.
