Maxed out HDX3 5,1 feels slow

Maxed out HDX3 5,1 feels slow.
trying to not let it ruin my Music making experience.

any suggestions?
-settings
-preferences

upgrade?
-to my current system (not sure what's left)
-Mac Pro 2019 Intel
-Sonnet MacMini M2 Rig
-Mac Pro 2023 M2 ultra later this year

Nothing is "Snappy"
ProTools takes a long time to boot
plugins take a long time to present
Midi seems to have a hard time getting started
mild " rubber band or sling shot" into to time effect

Running it in pure HDX mode ... not hybrid

Verses, My Maxed out Mix Plus system on a G4 1.33 w/ M.2 Sata Evo850
The G4 RIPS! is is Snappy and Fast, Midi is immediate & synced
21 year old hot rodded dinosaur... it absolutely feels great and is fun to use.
Any day now 5,1 ... PT 2023 does everything... But feels sssslllloow.

Is quite solid with HDX1 PT’s 2023.3
