Backwards compatibility of iLok
I currently have a Pro Tools LE 6.4 setup on a G4 running OS 10.3.9, Digi 001. For the moment I haven't made the move to go on up to 7x since I have to change the interface and upgrade the OS to do so and I primarily use this setup just to process audio with other plug-ins my main system doesn't have. My question is whether AVID plugins (SMACK to be specific) with a 7x iLok authorization will authorize the 6x version of the plug-in? I have checked out the plug-in in trial mode and quite impressed with it. I have an iLok account and Smart iLok.
