Default Where to recall layouts and custom soft keys?

Again, I can't believe this.
I spent some time mapping and storing custom layouts and soft keys. That's why I just bought the S3 for after all.
Now I start a new session and everything went back to default?
Okay, I understand that these were stored in the other Pro Tools session.
How can I import them?

EUCON 3.3.1, PT HD 11.3.2, OSX 10.10.4

The Soft keys are stored in the Eucon control app on your computer. You have to save these, so they'll show up next time.

For fader layouts I use Session Templates in Pro Tools. I create a template with the faders layouts programmed on the S3 (and saving within Eucon control!). When you create a new session using this template, your layouts are available on the S3.

I don't know if you can also import them with "Import Session Data", have to take a look at that.

Hope this helps you!

Thanks for trying to help, Ronnie.

I discovered that the soft keys sometimes don't show the EUCON menu. Don't know why.
That's when they don't save as should. So this is a bug. If I have time I'll try to figure out how to reproduce it. After all, we're all beta-testers ;-)

As for the layouts, using a template to be able to recall layouts is what I'm doing, but it's very annoying that i can't import them via session data.

Still can't believe they didn't think of such a basic need...

The option to import Eucon layouts via Session Import Data dialog is extremely needed!

make sure that you are not in a different app by accident (Finder etc)
then the softkey mappings are shown and saved for this app.
