second ilok

Dont see that this has been covered before so I'll ask. I would really like a second ilok for my protools 9. Im so afraid Im going to loose it when I use it in my laptop for remotes. I cant remember what it iscalled but I have seen there is some type of " warranty" for lack of a better work to get a temp license throgh ilok. Any other ideas?

If you mean a second Ilok that is a copy of what you have on the first one, that's not possible. Unless you want to buy new licenses for everything you have.

The warrantee you are thinking of is like an insurance type thing, and it's available through Ilok. Info is on their site.

Additionally, if you have Waves plugins, they have a separate type of insurance, because they do things a little differently.

Thanks yes I saw that on their site. I assume I can instantly just download new license? I'll go check. Whole thing seems dumb.
