No sound recorded with Spectrasonics' Stylus in Pro-Tools

Hello,

I am trying to trying to use Stylus to record a track. What I don’t understand is if I use my keyboard to generate a sound with say Omnisphere in Pro Tools, I can record without any problem. However, if I am using Stylus and generate a sound without using the keyboard, nothing os recorded in PT. What is the problem exactly?

Do you mean you input sound directly from the Stylus keyboard VI and not from the midi keyboard? If you wanna use the VI and not a midi keyboard you need to put the Stylus on a Instrument track and change the input to Stylus and not the midi keyboard..

Thanks for your help! I already put the Stylus on an instrument track. How to I configure the Stylus as input instead of the midi keyboard? (In PT or in Stylus itself?)

I will load it up here as soon as I can. It is only 5:30 am here so i will go out to the studio as soon as possible and report back. Never used stylus that way.
