Launch PT from a Command Line

Hi all, Can a PT session be launched with session data via the command line? If so what is the correct syntax? Thank you for your help. Jeff Krinock, KPCC.

I had no problem doing that by entering in the full path to the session file.
Example:
D:\test\test.pts
Entering that command line executes Pro Tools and opens the session.

Scratching my head trying to figure out why in the world you'd want/need to do this though...

I was hoping a new session could be created from the command line so our reporters wouldn't need to use the PT interface to create a new session.

We have multiple studios and currently most of our reporters have various versions of the same story on multiple computers, depending on where they could initially access a studio. I am trying to write a small program that will move a PT session from the network drive to the local machine, launch PT, then move everything back once PT has closed.
