M-Powered offers 3x more plug-in power than LE?!
Over in the LE section there's a few threads concerning quad-core PC's and their performance with PT. Two systems using LE interfaces are reporting ~140 simultaneous D-Verb plugs at 24/48, while my very similar rig using an Audiophile 192 can do 440.
Has anyone else experienced significantly higher plug-in counts with M-Powered compared to LE on otherwise similar systems? |

Re: M-Powered offers 3x more plug-in power than LE?!
i'm not seeing that .. with 7.1, i have LE and M on the exact same
system and they behave and perform identically (audio interface issues aside). i haven't had a need recently for 400+ DVerbs ... but that picture was cool to look at wasn't it now ? ;-) jeff |
