Midi Program Button (Patch Select Dialog Box)

On page 366 of the Pro Tools 6.4 Reference Guide it shows a PROGRAM BUTTON on midi tracks which opens a PATCH SELECT DIALOG box. This button does not show up on my midi tracks (either in edit view or mix view). Why?
