7.3 Coreaudio output distortion

Brand new imac core 2, 2.16Ghz, 2GB ram, PT LE 7.3, Mbox 1. Output is distorted when using core audio, just listening to songs from itunes, everything is overdriven and fuzzed out. This is coming directly from the 1-2 outputs on the mbox to powered speakers, not the headphone outs. Protools output when editing and no coreaudio seems to be ok. When I go back to using my 15" powerbook, PT LE 7.0, all is normal, same exact setup but with a powerbook and different version of PT, and works fine like always. Whether I lower my Mbox volume, itunes volume, or coreaudio volume, it's still distorted so it's not like there are too many boosts. Can't tell if its something with usb ports on imac or coreaudio.

Thanks, but it's not the same problem...unfortunately I know of that problem too. Mine is more of an actual distortion/overdrive. Blowin up the speakers.

Digi techs? Anything?

It looks as though this is addressed in the new 7.3.1 update
