Default Importing Windows Le Session to Mac TDM

I’ve got a bunch of sessions done on Windows Pro Tools Le that I need to get to a studio that uses Mac Pro Tools TDM.

I know that in theory this should work, but is there anything special I need to do to make this happen or do I just burn the session to a CD ROM and cross my fingers?

Thanks in advance for your help!
Sean

Hope this helps...

You checked the "Mac/PC compatibility mode" option, right? After that, you burn ISO data CD's and get a FREE(in my understanding) extension for the Mac called "Joliet volume access"(Google it!). This is just for the the mac to understand the long PC file names on the CD(instead of 8.3). Otherwise you may have to search for the files' unique ID's one by one when opening the session... A bummer.

Your other option is a FAT32 formatted Firewire HD which the mac should read, and then you don't need the extension.

You're welcome.

Also, if you use this PC joint alot (I have one I do) and want to transfer sessions to a Mac studio often get a program for the PC called "Macdrive 5" from here. It'll open Mac HFS and HFS+ drives on a PC. They have a free demo up there and it is cheap(50$).
