External FW HD Chipsets....
Hi,
I am looking to get an external Firewire HD for my system. This is the one im looking at: http://www.macpower.com.tw/products/...ades/pd_scombo It has an Oxford 924 DSB chipset, is anyone else using one of these, can anyone comment... Regards |

What connection are you using on the back of that drive? Because I think theres 2 or 3 different chipsets in that drive and each port would change the reliability of that drive with pro tools.
I want to get that drive too, since it seems hard to find anything fast that supports internal sata drives. |
