Default Pc canīt recognize the HD Native as a sound output

Iīve installed a HD native hardware PCIe on my PC (Windows 7), and pluged it to a HD OMNI interface. I have already installed the Avid HD Drive on my system and pro tools hd 10 it is working well with the hardware.
The problem is that only Pro Tools works with the HD Native. I canīt listen to any other program or even the sounds of the system.. It just dont recognize the HD OMNI as an output sound...

I search for a drive or software of OMNI but didnīt found at all. Did someone have the same problem? Or knows some way to fix this?

Thanks!!

The best way to get you PC sounds into the OMNI....use a SPDIF cable out of your PC into the OMNI....or.

use a ADAT cable out of your PC into your OMNI.

Thats really the best easiest way to make happen what you are wanting to do.

Ever since PT7, I have NOT used the interface for Windows sounds. Early on, I ran a cable from the mini output of the sound card, to the ALT inputs on my 002/003. That was fine for non-critical audio(outside of PT) but the quality was not so great. When I incorporated a Presonus Central Station into my setup, I fed optical SPDIF from the computer, directly into the Central Station, which sounds(to my ears) every bit is good(clean and quiet) as PT audio and I never have any hardware conflicts(from Windows AND Pro Tools trying to use the same hardware
