It looks like now you can upgrade from any single instrument to PTIE for $199.

A little disappointing for me, as I own all Air VIs except Velvet.

So I also should have to pay $199??

The $199 upgrade price was announced on friday, there was supposed to be something announced today I thought?

It's my birthday and I was going to get PTIEP, but now avid is annoying me I don't want to get screwed and have to call them to sort it out.

Sorry, I didn't want to create confusion!

So far very few price drops. Seems like the MBox line + PT9, but also the Venom and others will have price drops. Seems mostly to be in store.

Maybe. Some of the stuff like the Mbox and the Venom is new though, so I doubt that those will signal new units. I see them releasing new units for the successor of the 003 Line, Accel Line, and Control Surface line.
