I manually deleted everything listed. Empty trash. Reboot. Install older driver.
The problem is still here, the audio dropped out after 5 minutes..

How old was the last working driver? I would try going back to that one. Also try a different usb cable and port.

I think it was the 1.2.3 driver version, not sure. I'm going back to this version and I'm going to try a different usb cable/port.

The Mbox 3 is not recognised when using the 1.2.3 driver version..

I don't know if the firmware can be regressed or reflashed in the field. What firmware version is listed in the Mbox control panel?
