Playback engine support problem...

I keep getting "The current playback engine does not support a sample rate of 44.1 kHz"

I am running:
- PT9.01
- Mbox Mini via USB
- iMac 2.8Ghz Core i5
- 4GB 1333 MHz DDR3
- Mac OSX 10.6.6

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Hi,

Have you downloaded the drivers for the mbox and are you using them in the playback engine settings? or are you running under coreaudio drivers! if coreaudio is already running and set to another frequency then you boot PT you might see this message, though going to the playback engine settings and re-selecting the interface should re-set it to the right frequency.

other problem could be if you are set to external clocking? set in the hardware setup page.


I see you're using 10.6.6 which has not been qualified to be used with pro tools!! and there have been reports of issues with 10.6.6

I have the same problem, ever since I upgraded to mac osx 10.6.8. When I load up a pro tools session it said "The current playback engine does not support a sample rate of 44.1 kHz.

My mbox is also not responding.

Where can I get the drivers from?

please help!
