S6L Virtual Soundcheck

Hi There!

Im having a bit of an issue connecting my Protools for virtual soundcheck..

(Macbook Pro running Yosemite and Protools 12)

So far i've connected the Cat5 to the surface, went into Audio/Midi Setup and Selected the AVB E6L setting so it shows up in my audio devices.

My Protools playback engine is the E6L.. and I've defaulted the I/O paths etc..

Output's from each channel are One for One, and I've patched the inputs from protools on the S6L.

Is there anything extra i'm missing that should be installed?

Your setup seems just fine. Have you had any luck before? Did you try to record instead of playing back? (Trying with a clear showfile that will be routing the stage inputs directly from the stage rack)

(clear console, ensure AVB E6 is connected, assign the stage rack and then start you protools with selecting E6 as the playback engine

Just for completeness: did you do a VenueLink setup?

And what exactly is not working? Audio should start working as long as you chose AVB in playback engine. Control features and "create session from VENUE" require VenueLink.
