I hope in the future Pro Tools will have an option of saving "Favorite plugins" each time there's an update I have to go through the same struggle of adding my fav plugins to the list. It would be amazing to have a feature where we can just save it and whenever new update is available we can simply recall it. I hope more people feel my pain

Its in your preferences settings. For most updates (same main versions) you can save your preferences and restore them after the install.

Or use Trasher to backup your Preferences and then restore those Preferences after installing the new version of Pro Tools
