aurora 16 hd2 crashes

Hi,
I'm using an Aurora 16 and 96 i/o with a core card and process card.
while working at 88.2 it freezes after about 2 min.
The digitest fails when the aurora 16 is connected to either the core card or the process card. Is that normal. the digitest passes when the Aurora isn't connected.
Also I think i have the cards in a reverse order. In the digi test window the process card is listed in space 0 and the core card is in space 1.
Would this cause crashes? I'd swap them but I don't have the right kind of screw driver.

Not sure if this helps but under the system usage window it reads hd core 1 hd engine 100% then again.
Then under Process hd engine %100. Does that mean my system is maxed out?

ok I read around a bit and answered most of my questions.
WHat happened was Protools created a dozen 75 gig files taking up all my hard drive space.
Has this happened to anyone else? It totally ruined my session today. Im just happy my system isn't broken.
If anyone knows why this happens please chime in
