Cant find the plugin i've installed

Hey!

I use Pro Tools 12 for Windows.
I was told Avid Sound Replacer would work as a trigger, and so I downloaded this. The problem is, that after installing Sound Replacer, i cant find it. It's in the plugin folder, but cant use it Pro Tools. I can find it in the Audiosuite tab, but not when i add a plugin to a track. Tried installing it again and again, but cant seem do work. Anything im doing wrong here?

Welcome to the DUC.

Sound Replacer is audio suite only. That's why you don't find it in insert plugin menu.

There are RTAS plugins that can be used to trigger samples in realtime, I think Waves has one, but I have very little experience with that sort of thing.

RTAS plugin versions doesn't work in PT12. Has to be AAX64 bit or VST inside a wrappwe like Bluecat MB-7 or Patchworks.

Sorry. Silly of me. I'm still on PT10.
But I guess it's not a realtime plugin in AAX either, then?
