Hopefully this is global?

Nice work Stephen ... although they stopped short of my 7 at $199 unfortunately! Might still have been borderline for me as, apart from completing the set, I already have the ones I want, so $299 too much just for completing the set :)

Good of Eventide to be so responsive to their customers however - as others have already stated, this type of upgrade offers decent value for plugin 'buyers', much like Soundtoys and others have done recently ... and the opposite of the Slate approach which is obviously skewed towards incentivising their subscription model.

Yes, same here. I'm giving it more serious consideration now although the extra 7-9 plugin options might have avoided any further deliberation

I have written to Eventide again as the 5 & 6 plugin options are showing the following "and get an Anthology 11 license" rather than "and get an Anthology XI license" as per the original options. I just got a response and that is a typo, the license is for the Anthology XI as expected.

Agreed, SoundToys are pretty stellar in this field. Waves are providing some excellent upgrades too, never short on option with them. I think that getting as many customers on board is a win, win situation in the increasingly saturated plugin market. Plugin Alliance are leading the field in this respect.

Got the word from Eventide

"At this time there are no plans to offer more than 6+. $299 is the best price for your upgrade."

So an improvement on $499 for sure. I suppose it is jump in now or else see if they offer something more tempting in a year's time around Black Friday?

The low £ isn't helping us here in the UK

Nice work on this guys.

Not really complaining but it's still $499 for me. I don't have any Anthology plugins. Just regular ones, even though I don't see what the difference is. I'm still passing on this one. Too much money for the extra that would be useful to me.

... and I agree re. Plugin Alliance too! Over time, I've noticed them apparently become more popular (or at least talked about) as people buy into their ecosystem, highly-regarded products like bx console, etc. ... and their monthly coupons (much like Waves; resulting in actual prices paid being significantly lower than RRP if one is patient) + yearly advent calendar sales will surely have helped them build up this loyalty.

So I went for the upgrade. Surrendered six licences and paid $299.00

Eventide accept multiples of the same licenses so in my case that consisted of

2 x Ultra Reverb Native
2 x Stereo Room
2 x Ultra Channel Native

For those that need more licenses to get up to the six, they are currently available cheaply as part of some promotions.

I bought here https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Eventide-...T/173032530229

And here

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Eventide-...T/173032531330

I can personally vouch this vendor is cool having made three transactions with him recently (two for the Eventide listings above and one Plugin Alliance) but there are other similar listings on eBay at the moment (slightly more expensive).

At a grand sum of about $13 for each Eventide license and $5 for each Plugin Alliance these are an absolute bargain

So, even if you don't have a single Eventide plugin you can get the six plugins for well under $100 and the subsequent upgrade for $299!

So hurry, hurry!

Stephen
