Monthly subscription

I seem to remember a local Avid rep telling me that if you purchase the "month by month" subscription to Pro Tools, that you can "suspend" your subscription at any time, and pick it up when you need it again, without penalty, albeit a new iLok license is required.

Is this the case? Sounds like a good deal for the casual user.

I believe it's the full monthly price for month to month with no annual commitment is $29.99mo + tax or around there.

In my case, I'm paying $9.99 + tax per month for the annual commitment.
The option of $99 up front for the whole year was also available in my AVID account since my plan recently expired.

Subscription is available monthly or annually. You can renew or not at the end of your term. If you let it expire you can subscribe again any time.
