dae error 6001

Every time I launch a protools fre session session it fires of a dae error message -6001. Now not only is it doimg that but it crashes in the middle of trying to open a project. The mac just hangs there.

I am using an adaptec scusi card and a tyrell tyre store. I have tried 3 seperate scusis, one of which turned out to have corrupted audio. I have reloaded the audio onto a newly
reformatted scusi but the damn thing keeps crashing.

So part one why do I always get the ade error message when firing up?
2: Is that connected to the crash or could that be a scusi related problem?

I use the 001 system and for that I had to format my Scussi drive with "ATTO" to set the scussi up for recording audio. I know that if you are using an ATA drive you can side step that little bit of fun.
