Default PTHD2 and Xserve

I was thinking that to save space (and for portability) putting an HD2 in an Xserve might work. HAs anyone tries this, or know of any reason not to?

Another option might be to rack a G5 sideways, but I can't find anyone who can provide the rack kit bits anymore.

any advice would be appreciated

L
