Default Mic Stands with Boom

Just wondering what brands of mic stands various studios have adopted. There are so many companies manufacturing inadequate products.

Default Re: Mic Stands with Boom

Good point. I prefer AKG or K&M stands myself, but have bought a few cheaper ones for the studio. I think the biggest difference is how they hold up to abuse. The AKG stuff lasts for years on the road while the cheap stands are trashed in a few months. Abuse is not really a problem in my little project studio.
