Default keyboard focus on - switching mix/edit window

in keyboard focus mode i cannot switch between mix- and edit-window using comand <

i can't sort it out...

I'm not saying it's not right, but I haven't heard of that command. command = will toggle between the edit and mix windows, though.

"<" on my keyboard is the key next to the left shift.

it works on my powerbook and in another studio on a mac pro and it used to work on my mac pro but somehow i "lost" it somewhen during my pt9 days... ?!?

Two ways to do this.

command+=

Command+`

The First is Pro Tools specific, the second is mac global. The location of this key varies between keyboard layouts . English UK it is to the right of the left shift key, English US it is above the tab key.

thank you for clarifying.

what i still don't understand, is that i use the same keyboard layout (swiss-german) on all systems.
i don't know if this is hardware specific and i use the same keyboard for years ...
