SoundReplacing Real Drums
Those of you who SoundReplace real drums with samples - Bob Clearmountain in my case. What are you doing to them to make them blend in better with the kit and sound less replaced?

Re: SoundReplacing Real Drums
I've been eq ing and compressing after creating the SR drum track. With good results. However, I've not been able to get a good SR track from the Clearmountain snares. Just the kicks and toms. For snares, I have my own recorded from previous sessions which work great. I've also done snare replacements with the drummers actual snare this way. Nothing new. Build up your own library; the best way to go.

Re: SoundReplacing Real Drums
For snare fill's I cut the sr track up,then pitch the hits up and down 20 cents..it makes a big difference.
