One side question: I see in my rulers there is a new addition, Timecode 2. What was it that I did that created that? Both Timecode and Timecode 2 are showing the same thing when I show both rulers. Just curious, while I'm getting used to PT.

Take a look at the transport, you have two counters. Bigger is the main counter, seems you want to have it bars and beats, smaller is the sub counter which can be minutes and seconds for example

PT allows two timecode rulers with different zero points - you don't need both and can choose not to display one of them, but there's no harm in having both.
