Default Multi touch support

Is there anywhere to put forward ideas for new features in Pro Tools? I'd like to suggest native multi-touch recognition without having to use third party drivers (D-Touch for example). I'm running a touch screen monitor with multi touch drivers from touch-base, and they work really well. The only problem is that Avid need to enable multitouch within their software in order for it to work fully; i.e. multiple fader support, zoom on the edit screen (works in Logic). I believe studio one software supports multi touch, so it can be done. Any thoughts?

At first glance, I would agree(and for sure, it would be nice for those that like that workflow). But, after spending a few weeks on a touchscreen(with Dtouch) and spending some long demo time on Raven and MTi, I will likely never go that route(already returned my touchscreen). I will be moving to some more "hardware-like" control(impatiently waiting for the DOCK to ship). Once I got over the "gee whiz" factor, I found it rather limiting in some surprising ways, and not very natural in other ways(although I loved the macros, DTools has been dropped and Slate is months away from a Windows version of their Batch Commander). And, to be fair, DTouch tech support was excellent. Just my 2 cents

Well, my $ 0.02:

I'm demoing DTouch at the moment. I'm still not sure if it improves my workflow or not. In general, it doesn't feel bad to control PT via a touchscreen and I'd say it is faster than using the mouse. But it also isn't the greatest experience of all time.

Solutions until now only offer a multitouch overlay on the faders. And how often you touch them (especially more than one at a time) during everyday work?

So, in my opinion, touch support isn't worth it without the macro buttons. Slate Raven and DTouch provide them, but they are limited. Avid would need to provide their own set of macro keys. They would have the advantage to be able to create macros that work under the hood and not rely on HUI and some mouse gestures.

But the next general problem: Mac OS X isn't touch-ready. And it feels quite strange to work all day in PT touching your screen and then switch to an application like mail and need to go back to the mouse again, as nothing works besides simple clicks. No right click, no swipe to scroll. It might look like a giant iPad, but it isn't.

And there is an ergonomics problem, too. A 27" screen with 1920x1080 pixels directly under your nose looks wrong in times of retina displays. But higher resolutions make the buttons too small.
