Mbox/Digi 002 incompatible? Please help!

Anyone please give me a hand with this problem.

SITUATION:
I'm running Mbox ProTools 5.2.1 on a Powerbook G3 (Pismo) & have sessions on external HD (firewire) that were done on a Digi002 (probably using PT 5.3.2). The Mbox system wont let me open any files/sessions from the HD ("invalid/corrupted file" or something like that). I thought all ProTools are compatible with each other from TDM on down.

QUESTION:
How can I open these sessions/files with the Mbox system and get busy? (There's no 5.3.2 download listed for Mbox in the digidesign download section).

you know, if the sampling rate is 96khz, the DIGI 002 can handle it, but the MBOX maxes out at 48khz....

You might be stuck using an 002 for this session if it was started at the higher resolution.

Thanks Phil, Im still new to this. Is there a way to lower the Digi 002 sessions sample rate so I can use the Mbox?
