Formatted wrong drive!!! Help!!
and the day started out so well too...
Bought a drive to mirror an existing one and subsequently formatted/erased the wrong one. None of the recovery programs I've come across recognize Pro Tools files and/or they don't recover according to the original folder heirarchy. Anyone else successfully recovered from this situation?

Re: Formatted wrong drive!!! Help!!
The best I've been able to do is use Data Rescue to recover the files... and get most of the audio files back.. Session files were lost. I wrote an app which renames the audio files to their original names based on the metadata in the audio files. The recovery apps won't usually recover the file names.
Immediately unmount the drive and don't have it mounted if you run Pro Tools... the DigiBase folders will overwrite data. Rail
